Torchwood Box Set & Ratings

2Entertain will be releasing Torchwood Series 1 - 3 Box Set in the neat future. The set will include all Torchwood episodes and all Torchwood Declassified episodes. The box set is set to be released on 26th October for the RRP Of £59.99. The cover and synopsis will be posted when avalible. In Other News BBC America has recently released the viewing figures for Torchwood : Children Of Earth which was broadcast last month. The show reached an average of 705,000 viewers each night. And on the final 5th night they reached 847,000, which is the most viewers BBC America have ever had on any of the programmes they have aired. What Do You Think Of This? Please Leave Your Comments. Who News!

There is quite a few things to talk about in this Who News! Firstly on 20th August at 8.00pm on BBC Three, a special Doctor Who Confidential called "Doctor Who Greatest Moments: The Doctor” will be broadcast. The show features all of the 10th Doctor's best moments from Series 2 - 4 and includes interviews with David Tennant himself, John Barrowman (Captain Jack), David Morrissey (Jackson Lake) and Mark Gatiss (Lazarus). Next Russel T Davies book 'The Writer’s Tale' will be updated about information concerning the 2009 Doctor Who Specials. The book itself is written by head writer of Doctor Who; Russel T Davies. Issue 128 will be released on Thursday 13th August for the price of £2.10. In Other News Televisionary.com have recently interviewed Doctor Who director Euros Lyn and Russel T Davies, ex head writer of Doctor Who. The interview can be seen here and here. Also in yesterdays Sun Newspaper in the showbiz section it said that lead singer from the band "The Streets" was to be in Doctor Who Series 5, apparently he had put the following on his twitter page "You wouldn't believe the week I've had, I can't talk about it, but let's just say I got a part in Doctor Who." But he was told to take it off the site, is it true? Who knows! Also, in today's Sun Newspaper also in the showbiz section it says that Georgia Moffett (Who played the Doctor's Daughter and is currently dating David Tennant) will be a doctor herself, in casualty! Who News!


Who News! Is Back! To start Who News, Russel T Davies has confirmed the running time of David Tennant's last Doctor Who Episode "The End Of Time". The episode will last one hour and 15 minutes! The episode see's the return of the Master and other characters including Donna Noble.
Secondly inside the current issue of SFX magazine there is news about The Sarah Jane Adventures Series 3 from an interview with producer of the show Nikki Smith. WARNING MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS! (Highlight To Reveal) In the interview she reveals that the Slitheen and their cousin family the Blathareen will feature in the final story of the Series. She also said that the Judoon will be making an appearence in the Series.
Next up John Barrowman said on the Chris Moyles Radio One Breakfast that he will be in Desperate Housewives! He said that he's 'got a meeting with the executives of Desperate Housewives'.
Sticking with John Barrowman one of his songs called ''I Made It Through The Rain' has reached it into the UK Top 40 Chart. The song from his album ''Music, Music, Music' has reached the charts largely because Chris Moyles asked everyone to download and listen to the track! Were You Someone Who Downloaded The Song? Forbidden Planet have revealed a new and exclusive 6th Doctor Regeneration figure. The figure is based upon the Doctor from the episode 'Caves Of Androzani' where he was still wearing the previous Doctor's outfit. The figure will be avalible from all Forbidden Planet stores in the UK & Ireland by 12th August, for the RRP Of £14.99. The figure can be pre-ordered here on their website. Karen Gillan In The Kevin Bishop Show

Series 5 assistant Karen Gillan (Amy Pond) who will appear along side the 11th Doctor, will be The Kevin Bishop Show tonight and all 6 episodes of the Series, which is now it's second. She plays many different characters on the show. The comedy can be very funny, but also very rude, so thats a warning. There are over 40 sketches in each show. Tom Baker, To Be Returning?

Tom Baker (The Fourth Doctor) has said that he would be 'keen' to return for a Doctor Who reunion, in a possible Children In Need Special. As long as he could have an input to the script. The following article is from todays Sun Newspaper:-
FORMER Time Lord Tom Baker said yesterday he is keen to be part of a Doctor Who reunion show - if he is allowed to vet the script. The actor, who played the role in the 1970's, said "I'd want to have some say. I'm not asking for Tom Stoppard to write the script, but for it to be as I remember it." BBC1 is rumoured to be planning a Children In Need special featuring all the surviving Doctors. Tom, 75, said he is amazed the show now features the Doc kissing girls. He said: "I didn't even know how to shake hands with them.

Hello everyone, it's been quite a while since my last post, the reason being was school, I had been having mock exams and things like that, so I was unable to update the site. However summer holidays are here and TimelordsVsDaleks is back! But as I said it's the summer holidays! So posts may not be very regular, but the big news will be posted! A lot has happened in the World of Who since I've been gone, New trailers for Waters of Mars episode, the comic-con trailer for The End of Time! The Masters returning! Loads of old characters are coming back. And Series 5! has started filming. Where as Sarah Jane Adventures Series 3 has finished filiming and Torchwood : Children of Earth was a huge succsess! Torchwood Asylum

BBC Audio have now released the cover (which can be seen below) and the synopsis for the first Torchwood audio drama called Asylum. The audio is one of three, and will be aired on BBC Radio 4 soon. The synopsis can be read below:-

When PC Andy Davidson arrests a young girl for shoplifting, he thinks it's going to be a routine case. That is, until he sees that she is carrying a gun. The girl is soaking wet, covered in mud, and the weapon is like nothing he's ever seen before. He knows that this is a case for Torchwood... The team discovers that the girl is called Freda, but can find out nothing else. Yet when she speaks, it's a strange mix of English and Icelandic,but with a Cardiff accent. While Jack and Ianto check out the girl's weapon and her blood sample at the Hub, Gwen and PC Andy take Freda to a safe house. But when Jack calls with the results - and Freda goes on the run - PC Andy finds his world turning upside down.
